The YNEXT Project was launched in response to the urgent need for backup internet and communication points across Yemen. It was designed as a decentralized network solution to support information flow and digital access in case of a national Internet and telecommunications shutdown, especially during times of conflict and power outages.

The goal of YNEXT is to ensure uninterrupted communication and information access during critical times, especially in cities most affected by the conflict and infrastructure breakdowns.
