"The child surfing the Internet is like walking in a minefield," said one expert. "Moving through regular websites can lead to shocking and harmful lapses. We have to be aware of the dangers that are bothering children and we should be keen to discuss them.
Here we have to understand the pros and cons of the Internet and discuss them with our children and follow some guidelines, so that they can enjoy a safer online experience.
Therefore, we organized the YODET workshop for children between 9-12 years on what the digital protection is, how to deal with strangers and what ways are there to protect privacy within the program of digital protection for children.
